Rosmarin, a photographer from Boston, is currently one of 18 Americans quarantined at the University of Nebraska Medical Centre. Despite being isolated, he maintains optimism, documenting his experiences online and adapting to his temporary home with personal touches.
Health authorities emphasize that the virus, rare and usually spread by rodent droppings, poses a minimal threat to the public. Meanwhile, the biosecurity measures highlight precautions mainly aimed at protecting the environment from the ship's visitors.
