In France, all 26 people monitored for potential hantavirus infection have tested negative, according to the health minister. Although regular testing will continue, health authorities will now only report positive results. In a recent health update, the French health minister confirmed that all 26 individuals under observation for potential hantavirus infection tested negative.
The monitored individuals will remain under medical surveillance and will undergo thrice-weekly testing, though future result notifications will only occur in case of a positive detection.
