The Baloch Yakjehti Committee released a previously stirring speech by Mahrang Baloch, reigniting focus on the March Against Baloch Genocide, a protest journey from Islamabad to Quetta, condemning ongoing violence and disappearances in Balochistan.

During her passionate address, Mahrang Baloch declared, 'For every Baloch you murder, many more will rise,' spotlighting the historical repression and human rights violations by Pakistani security forces in the region.

In a post on X, the Baloch Yakjehti Committee emphasized the symbolic return of the march as a testament to the Baloch people's enduring resistance against militarization and rights abuses. Testimonies of affected families highlighted the stark reality of violence faced daily in Balochistan, challenging social consciousness.

Initiated in December 2023, the March Against Baloch Genocide, led by Mahrang Baloch and supported by Baloch women and families, proceeded from Turbat following the alleged extrajudicial killing of a young man, Balaach, towards Islamabad. This peaceful protest drew significant attention nationally and internationally, spotlighting the deep-rooted issue of state-linked disappearances and fatalities.

The campaign, described by the BYC as a 'civil and democratic resistance' movement, called for independent investigations and accountability for the enduring crisis in Balochistan. The BYC underscores that the march's return echoes a continuing fight for justice and global recognition of their plights.
