In a bold call to action, the United States has urged the United Nations Security Council to pressure Iran into halting its longstanding campaign against Israel, discontinuing its pursuit of nuclear arms, and beginning peace negotiations in earnest. At a recent UNSC meeting, U.S. Ambassador Dorothy Shea defended military strikes on Iran as essential for stemming a growing global threat and supporting Israel's right to self-defense.

Ambassador Shea highlighted the urgent need for the UNSC to mandate Iran's cessation of hostile actions targeting both American interests and allies in the Middle East. The U.S. military's pinpoint strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities sought to degrade Tehran's nuclear capabilities and respond to Iran's missile threats against Israel. Shea warned of severe repercussions should Iran target American assets.

Operation Midnight Hammer, the coordinated military endeavor, saw U.S. bombers striking key Iranian nuclear sites in a meticulously planned mission. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Dan Caine, explained the deployment of advanced tactical maneuvers, which included sophisticated deception strategies to ensure the effectiveness of the operation. The international community now watches closely as tensions between the U.S. and Iran escalate.
