A landmark National Security Conference, dubbed 'United Against Extremism', was held at the Paramount EventSpace in Woodbridge, Ontario. Organized by the Canada India Foundation and The Alliance to Fight Secessionism and International Khalistani Terrorism, the conference gathered prominent figures to address the threats posed by extremist ideologies and foreign interference in Canada.

The gathering emphasized the manipulation of Canada's multicultural democracy by overseas radical elements. Participants discussed historical issues like the 1985 Air India Flight 182 bombing and the rise of foreign-funded extremist groups, highlighting the urgent need for a coordinated national response. Chairperson Ritesh Malik stressed that the event aimed to preserve Canada's core values amidst increasing extremist threats.

The conference also spotlighted the emotional account of Sanjay Lazar, who lost his family in the Air India bombing. Calls were made to incorporate this tragic event into Canadian education. Panelists discussed ongoing dangers from various extremist networks, urging for stronger political resolve and media transparency. The event's findings are set to be compiled into a report for lawmakers and security agencies.
