Abu Dhabi is gearing up for the 4th Bike Abu Dhabi Gran Fondo, an event organized by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, scheduled for December 21, 2025. The upcoming race will feature a reversed route, beginning in the Al Ain Region and concluding in Abu Dhabi, showcasing some of the nation's most picturesque landscapes.
With a substantial prize pool of AED 2 million, the 2025 edition will also honor 364 participants, marking an increase from the previous year and reflecting the event's growing stature. Aref Hamad Al Awani, Secretary General of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, emphasized the race's significance as a crucial element in Abu Dhabi's strategy to become a leading global cycling destination.
Highlighting its inclusive nature, Al Awani remarked that the Bike Abu Dhabi Gran Fondo brings together amateurs and professionals, aligning with the emirate's vision of integrating cycling into daily life. The event is aimed at promoting healthy and sustainable lifestyles and fostering a sense of community, coinciding with the Year of the Community initiative in 2025.
