The Al Dhaid Date Festival, now in its ninth edition, officially commenced at Expo Al Dhaid, Sharjah, UAE. Organized by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), this prominent event runs from July 23 to 27 and gathers leading date producers, palm farmers, and agricultural entities from the UAE.

Notable attendees at the opening ceremony included Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of SCCI, and other distinguished officials. The event highlights the significance of local agricultural heritage, offering diverse showcases of dates and fruits and engaging competitions and seminars focusing on modern farming innovations.
