A motorcyclist was fatally struck and run over by a speeding bus near Pukhtoonabad in Karachi's Manghopir area on Sunday, according to ARY News. Police reported that the victim suffered critical injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died. The bus driver initially fled the scene but was subsequently apprehended, and the vehicle was confiscated.

Across Karachi, five separate traffic incidents on Sunday resulted in the deaths of at least five people, including a woman, and injured two others. These incidents unfolded in various city regions, including Korangi, Shah Faisal Colony, Landhi, and near Radio Pakistan. Earlier in the day, a tragic collision involving a dumper and a motorcycle claimed a life near Malir Court on the National Highway.

Police investigations revealed that the dumper driver, identified as Ejaz, fled but was later caught and taken to Malir City police station. Ejaz admitted to losing control due to brake and steering failures and acknowledged dozing off while driving. His expired driving license and grueling work schedule were also noted as contributing factors in the collision.
