President Donald Trump has urged Israel to extend humanitarian aid to the residents of Gaza, stressing the importance of feeding the hungry amidst escalating tensions. Speaking before boarding Air Force One in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Trump highlighted the United States' efforts in funding this initiative, asserting the nation's commitment to humanitarian causes.

"We want the people fed -- and we're the only country that's really doing that," Trump stated, emphasizing that the U.S. is actively working to alleviate the humanitarian crisis. "We want Israel to get them fed," he continued, underlining the urgency of the situation and suggesting the occurrence of alarming events in the region.

While dismissing the notion that the conflict in Gaza amounts to genocide, Trump acknowledged the severe circumstances that unfolded during the Hamas-led attack on October 7, 2023. "I don't think it's that," he commented, referencing Israel's military response while describing the ongoing scenario as wartime actions.

Simultaneously, a collective of former senior Israeli security officials released a video advocating for the cessation of hostilities in Gaza. The group, which includes 19 retired IDF chiefs and other high-ranking officials, criticized the continuation of the conflict, attributing it to political agendas rather than military strategy.

The video, introduced with a voiceover detailing the extensive experience of the participants in national security and diplomacy, called for a permanent ceasefire and a comprehensive agreement for the release of hostages. The experts argued that the conflict could have been concluded earlier, insisting on a strategic resolution to the ongoing discord.
