Nationwide internet services in Pakistan have been restored following significant disruptions caused by severe rainfall, as confirmed by Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL). PTCL officials reported that services have returned to normalcy after the disruptions affected several major cities, including Karachi.

The connectivity issues, which began in the previous evening, led to problems with online and call services, impacting individuals and businesses dependent on digital platforms. This outage highlighted the frequent challenges faced in cities such as Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and Peshawar.

Post-disruption, workers and business professionals expressed frustration over the interruption of essential online services. IT and Telecom Minister Shaza Fatima acknowledged the issue, assuring the public that investigations are underway to identify and rectify the root cause. This situation raises significant concerns about Pakistan's IT infrastructure amid increasing reliance on internet services for remote work and e-commerce.
