Moscow [Russia], August 21 (ANI/Izvestia): Western sanctions have unexpectedly bolstered Russia's domestic production and agriculture, according to Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov. In a recent interview, Japarov noted that products previously imported by Russia are now being exported, marking a significant transformation triggered by the economic restrictions.
Amid heightened tensions, the United Kingdom recently targeted the Kyrgyz Capital Bank of Central Asia and several entities under anti-Russian sanctions. President Japarov emphasized his determination to safeguard Kyrgyz citizens and the nation's development against potential adverse effects.
In a tit-for-tat response, Russia announced its own set of sanctions against 21 British individuals. The Russian Foreign Ministry cited their involvement in spreading disinformation and supporting Ukraine's government as reasons for their inclusion on the 'stop list.'
