In an ongoing struggle for justice, families of missing Baloch individuals continued their protests on Tuesday in Karachi and Quetta, demanding the return of their relatives. Their plight was underscored by the recent news of a young man from Kech district returning home after a decade-long ordeal, as reported by The Balochistan Post (TBP).

At the Karachi Press Club, relatives of Zahid Ali Baloch have been staging a 15-day sit-in, braving adverse weather conditions. Zahid's father, Hameed Baloch, expressed deep concerns about his son's mysterious disappearance by security forces over a month ago. Despite 33 days passing without updates, Hameed pleaded for his son to be brought before a court if charges exist, describing the situation as an unbearably traumatic experience for his family.

Meanwhile, Quetta's protest camp by the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) marked its 5,915th day. VBMP chairman Nasrullah Baloch highlighted cases like Mir Yousaf Qalandrani, who was allegedly arrested in Karachi, echoing unresolved disappearances like those of his brothers since 2010. Such detentions have sparked serious human rights concerns, diminishing trust in state institutions. The families call upon the judiciary and human rights organizations to act, asserting this issue affects humanity and the integrity of human rights globally.
