Dr. Navinchandra Ramgoolam, Prime Minister of Mauritius, alongside his wife Veena, is embarking on a significant state visit to India from September 9 to 16. The tour, announced by the Ministry of External Affairs, kicks off in Mumbai, featuring numerous high-profile interactions across multiple Indian cities.

The visit progresses with the delegation's tour of Varanasi on September 10. Prime Minister Ramgoolam is scheduled to confer with India's Foreign Secretary and meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 11. Subsequent events span Varanasi, Ayodhya, Dehradun, and Tirupati, before culminating in Delhi on September 15.

Marking his first foreign bilateral visit in this tenure, Dr. Ramgoolam will discuss furthering the 'Enhanced Strategic Partnership' in meetings with President Droupadi Murmu. Such interactions underscore the robust historical and cultural ties binding Mauritius and India, integral to India's Vision MAHASAGAR policies.
