In the Mehnaz area of Buleda tehsil in Kech district, Pakistan, three students were reportedly detained by security forces on September 13, raising fresh concerns about enforced disappearances in Balochistan. According to The Balochistan Post, eyewitnesses confirmed the incident occurred at approximately 10:30 am local time, conducted by personnel from Pakistan's Frontier Corps.

The detained individuals are identified as 18-year-old Shehak and 19-year-old Waseem, both sons of Nusratullah, and 19-year-old Inayatullah, son of Dur Muhammad. The Baloch Yakjehti Committee condemned the detentions and demanded the students' immediate release and appearance in court. They emphasized that enforced disappearances violate fundamental rights, with severe implications for Balochistan's youth.

Adding to the climate of fear is the recent case of journalist Sher Khan Marri from Kohlu, allegedly apprehended by police and plainclothes personnel in Sibi. His family says he has been missing since the arrest, as human rights organizations and journalist unions call for his safe return. Meanwhile, protests continue outside Quetta Press Club, where families of other missing persons, such as Mehr Gul Marri, demand accountability from authorities.

Despite mounting pressure, Pakistani authorities have not commented on the Buleda incident or addressed wider allegations related to enforced disappearances, reported by The Balochistan Post.
