The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has taken responsibility for a suicide attack on a convoy of Pakistani Army buses in the Dasht area of Kech district, Balochistan. The group, through its Majeed Brigade, claims the operation resulted in over a dozen Pakistani military personnel being killed.
BLA spokesperson, Jeeyand Baloch, confirmed the attack, stating, "Baloch Liberation Army's Fidayee Unit, Majeed Brigade, executed a precise attack in Kech." The event signifies a growing trend of assaults against Pakistani forces by separatist factions in Balochistan, escalating the ongoing insurgency.
Continuing its aggressive campaign, the BLA reported additional operations across several districts, including Mastung, Kalat, and Quetta, between August 13 and 15. While the Pakistani authorities have yet to confirm the casualties reported by BLA, armed conflict in the region intensifies with growing demands for Balochistan's autonomy.
