During his visit, Prime Minister Modi met with King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima. Addressing an enthusiastic Indian community gathering, Modi praised the strong ties between the nations, stating The Hague was brimming with the spirit of Indian friendship.

Modi's references to tulips and lotuses symbolized the powerful cultural connection shared by both countries, despite geographic boundaries. His itinerary included meetings to bolster cooperation in sectors such as defense, innovation, and green hydrogen, aiming to solidify bilateral relations post-2017.
