Speaking on the sidelines of the Greater West Asia Forum in New Delhi, Azar stressed that Pakistan's rejection of the Abraham Accords underscores its mindset shift requirement for peace.
The Ambassador further addressed the tensions with Hezbollah, mentioning a recent rocket attack violating the ceasefire, claiming lives, and escalating threats. He highlighted Israel's dual focus on military defense and diplomatic efforts with Lebanon for a sustainable ceasefire, asserting the conflict stems solely from radical forces against Israel.
Azar turned attention to Iran, advocating for continuous international pressure to curb Tehran's militaristic ambitions. He underscored India's role as a significant economic and political player in West Asia, emphasizing that stability and neutralizing extremist elements are crucial for regional prosperity, with Israel viewing India as a pivotal partner.
