Honoring a Hero: The Sacrifice of Sub-Inspector Mohammed Imtiaz

The body of BSF sub-inspector Mohammed Imtiaz, slain in a heavy exchange of gunfire with Pakistani forces at Jammu and Kashmir's international border, reached Patna airport on Monday.
A solemn guard of honor was provided at the airport before transferring his remains to Narayanpur village, Saran district, for final rites with state honors. Dignitaries, including Bihar's Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav and other state officials, were in attendance.
Imtiaz's son expressed pride in his father's ultimate sacrifice and urged the government to respond firmly to Pakistan. State officials assured that his sacrifice has been avenged and remembered by all.
