Aryan Aviation Private Ltd is facing legal consequences following a fatal helicopter crash near Kedarnath that resulted in seven deaths, including that of a two-year-old child and the pilot. The crash of the Bell 407 helicopter, attributed to adverse weather, has raised serious questions about operational practices.
According to a complaint filed at the Sonprayag police station by Sub Inspector Rajiv Nakholia, Aryan Aviation is alleged to have launched the chopper without checking weather conditions, ignoring the cloudy and foggy state of the skies. The flight reportedly took off before its allotted time slot.
