Midnight Heist: Miscreants Strike SBI ATM
Over Rs 27 lakh was stolen from an unguarded SBI ATM in the early hours of Monday. Thieves disabled surveillance by painting over the CCTV. They used gas cutters to access the cash, while faulty alarms failed to alert authorities. Police have launched an investigation.

In a daring robbery, unknown criminals absconded with over Rs 27 lakh from an unguarded State Bank of India ATM early Monday morning, police officials reported.
This brazen act took place at approximately 4.30 am within the jurisdiction of Gulpet police station. The robbers evaded detection by covering the CCTV lenses with black paint and then dismantling the ATM's cash box using gas cutters.
The alarm systems were non-functional during the incident, facilitating the criminal's escape with Rs 27.62 lakh in cash. Nikhil B, Superintendent of Police in Kolar, has confirmed the registration of a case and a thorough investigation is underway to apprehend the suspects.
