Safe Passage: J&K Students Evacuated from Iran to Get Deluxe Transportation
Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah announced that students evacuated from Iran will be transported from Delhi to the Union Territory using deluxe buses. A total of 90 students from Jammu and Kashmir were part of the 110 people evacuated from Iran. Deluxe transport arrangements have been made.

Jammu and Kashmir's Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, announced on Thursday the arrangement of deluxe bus transportation for students evacuated from Iran. The students will be transported from Delhi to their home in the Union Territory.
A total of 90 students from Jammu and Kashmir were among the 110 evacuees. After leaving war-stricken Iran, the group was taken to Armenia, followed by a flight to Doha, and ultimately arrived in Delhi early Thursday.
The chief minister's office stated on X that the resident commissioner has been instructed to coordinate with JKRTC to ensure that proper deluxe buses are made available. Omar Abdullah confirmed in a post that the transportation arrangements will be in place within hours.
