A fugitive wanted for a murder in north Delhi has been apprehended after 13 years on the run, according to police. Rajeev, a 45-year-old resident of Prem Nagar, had been evading arrest since 2013 after he jumped interim bail granted on humanitarian grounds.

The arrest is linked to the kidnapping and murder of Sunil Kumar, whose body was recovered in Ghaziabad in January 2010. Rajeev, along with accomplices Lakhan and Rameshwar Dyal, allegedly committed the murder over a love affair between Sunil and Rajeev's cousin. While his associates remained in jail, Rajeev fled the scene.

Tracked to Bengaluru, Rajeev was living under the alias 'Bobby' and working as a driver. Police executed a capture operation after receiving intelligence that he would return to Prem Nagar. Rajeev admitted to traveling to Nepal and living under various identities to avoid detection. The investigation remains active.
