Mystery at Siom: Bridge Crossing Turns Tragic
A man named Tade Pigyor went missing after falling into the Siom river in Arunachal Pradesh. While crossing a suspension bridge in Shi Yomi district, it is suspected he lost balance due to the bridge tilting. A search operation is underway, but no trace has been found.

A tragic incident has gripped Shi Yomi district as a 40-year-old man is reported missing after falling into the Siom river. Identified as Tade Pigyor, he was attempting to cross a suspension bridge on Wednesday evening when the mishap occurred.
Local police suspect the bridge connecting Yapik and Lipo villages may have tilted, causing Pigyor to lose his balance and plunge into the water below. The district police, led by SP S K Thongdok, have launched a search operation, though no signs of the missing individual have been discovered thus far.
Authorities have alerted police stations in neighboring districts, such as West Siang, East Siang, and Siang, to assist in the ongoing search efforts, as hope remains to find Pigyor safely.
