In a significant breakthrough, Delhi Police have disrupted a counterfeit Bisleri bottle operation in the Shakurpur area, leading to the arrest of two individuals. The accused were found fabricating and distributing fake water bottles under the guise of legitimate branding.
Authorities identified the culprits as Sikander and Ashish, both local residents. The operation was unveiled after police conducted targeted raids, recovering a substantial haul of 26 counterfeit bottles alongside an array of labeling materials.
A third person, Vishal Gupta, is under investigation for his role in unlawfully providing water for the operation. The crackdown follows a company complaint regarding trademark violations, emphasizing legal and health implications.
