Tragic Sewer Incident in Vrindavan: Two Workers Lose Lives

In a grave incident in Vrindavan city, two sanitation workers tragically lost their lives due to exposure to poisonous gas while cleaning a sewer tank at a local guest house. Police confirmed the incident unfolded on Saturday evening.

Authorities have detained the contractor responsible for the operation, as the workers reportedly lacked any safety equipment. Neither worker regained consciousness after their exposure, and both were pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.

The bereaved families of the victims were initially distraught and protested at the hospital but were later appeased with assurances from officials that adequate compensation will be provided. The deceased men have been identified as Narendra, 38, and Chhotelal, 40.
