Union Home Minister Amit Shah laid the foundation stones for the National Forensic Science University (NFSU) and a Central Forensic Science Lab in Nava Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The initiative is set to bolster forensic education and investigative capabilities in the region.

During his two-day visit, Shah will hold crucial meetings on anti-Naxal operations accompanied by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and other state officials. The state has allocated 40 acres for the NFSU, funded by the Centre at Rs 400 crore.
