A private school in Vadodara's Sama area was evacuated on Monday following an email threat of a bomb blast, police reported. This marks the second such threat in five months for the educational institute.
Authorities conducted a comprehensive search with the Bomb Detection and Disposal unit and a dog squad, which lasted three hours. No suspicious object was found, leading officials to dismiss the threat as a hoax.
Police inspector MV Rathod confirmed the situation, noting that students were sent home safely after the threat was reported. Investigation into the source of the email is ongoing, as the school had faced a similar threat earlier this year.
