The Delhi Fire Service (DFS) has taken decisive action against Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital, Haryana Bhawan, and Indraprastha International School by denying them fire safety certificates. This follows inspections revealing significant non-compliance with essential fire safety regulations.

Official DFS communications highlight that the facilities exhibited multiple deficiencies, compromising fire safety. The DFS has refused certification until these critical issues are addressed.

Among the shortcomings were non-functional hose reels, inadequate fire detection systems, and other essential safety measures. The DFS insists on immediate corrections to ensure compliance and public safety in these establishments.
