China Backs Iran's Stand on Sovereignty and Security

China has reinforced its stance supporting Iran's commitment to protecting its own national sovereignty and security. This assurance was made clear by China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi in a recent phone call with his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araqchi.

According to a statement from the Chinese ministry, during the conversation, Wang Yi reiterated China's hope that a 'real ceasefire' could be established on the basis of Iran's resolve to safeguard its core interests.
