Nigerian Woman Arrested in Mumbai with Cocaine Worth Rs 1.42 Crore

A Nigerian woman was apprehended by Mumbai Police on Monday for possessing cocaine valued at Rs 1.42 crore. The woman, identified as Yena Christina Edova, was noticed behaving suspiciously in the old MHADA area during a routine police patrol.

Attempting to flee when questioned, Edova was quickly detained by alert officers. A thorough search revealed she was carrying 30 capsules filled with 418 grams of cocaine.

Booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, the suspect is now facing a detailed investigation by authorities to uncover more about the network involved.
