Eight individuals have been arrested by the authorities for allegedly impersonating Delhi Police officers in a bold plot targeting an insurance office in Laxmi Nagar. The group is accused of assaulting, threatening, and extorting Salman (31), the owner of the insurance firm.

The suspects staged a counterfeit police raid, seizing property and valuables by concocting a fabricated insurance fraud investigation. The operation was reportedly orchestrated by Hunny Kumar, a former employee of the victim, intending to settle personal scores.

Police investigations revealed that Kumar, collaborating with known felons Sunny Sharma and Ankit Jain, provided insider information to execute the act. The accused were caught using the same vehicle involved in the crime, and personal vendettas played a crucial role in this planned exploitation.
