A Danish national, referred to as Ali S, has been apprehended in Aarhus for allegedly collecting intelligence on Jewish sites in Berlin on behalf of Iranian authorities, according to German prosecutors.

The suspect was reportedly assigned earlier this year to gather sensitive information on Jewish localities and individuals, possibly for hostile purposes.

During June, Ali S was said to have conducted surveillance on three identified properties in Berlin, raising concerns about potential threats and prompting his arrest.
