Danish National Arrested for Suspected Espionage on Jewish Sites in Berlin

A Danish national has been detained in Germany on allegations of espionage for Iran, focusing on Jewish sites in Berlin, according to German prosecutors.

The individual, only identified as Ali S due to privacy laws, reportedly surveyed three sites in June, possibly including targets for future attacks, with instructions from Iranian intelligence.

The suspect was apprehended after being moved from Denmark and is awaiting legal proceedings in Germany with an extradition set for late July. The Danish and Iranian authorities have yet to respond.
