A 35-year-old man was tragically killed when he was struck by a train near a village on Monday morning, local police reported. The victim, identified as Arvind Rajbhar, hailed from Narhi village which falls under the jurisdiction of the Nagara police station.
Rajbhar's lifeless body was discovered on the Varanasi-Gorakhpur railway line, close to Tirnai Khurd village, according to police sources. Officers were dispatched immediately after receiving the distressing news and performed the necessary procedures, including sending the body for a post-mortem examination.
Ubhaon Station House Officer Rajendra Prasad Singh stated that initial investigations point to a train collision as the cause of death. However, authorities are still probing the incident to clarify the surrounding circumstances.
