In a disturbing event, a three-year-old girl was kidnapped from the Aligarh Junction railway platform, causing the Government Railway Police (GRP) to launch an intensive search effort, officials stated on Monday.
Inspector Sandeep Tomar, leading the GRP station in Aligarh, reported that the incident occurred Saturday night. The victim and her father, Karan Prakash, were asleep on platform number 5, awaiting their train to New Delhi. CCTV footage captured a couple gaining the child's trust with food before abducting her.
Initially, the father, appearing intoxicated, could not provide accurate information. An FIR has been registered, and police have mobilized to locate the girl. This marks the second such abduction at Aligarh Junction within a month. Previously, a two-year-old was kidnapped but later found in Etawah.
