A Bangladesh air force training jet crashed into a school campus in Dhaka, killing 19 and injuring 164 due to a technical failure. The pilot attempted to avoid populated areas but perished in the crash. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the incident.

On Monday, a Bangladesh air force training jet tragically crashed into a school campus in Dhaka, leading to 19 fatalities and 164 injuries. The F-7 BGI jet encountered a technical failure shortly after take-off, military spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Sami Ud Dowla Chowdhury reported.
The pilot, who was among those killed, attempted valiantly to steer the aircraft away from populated areas. Unfortunately, the plane collided with a two-storey building housing Milestone School and College. A military committee has been established to investigate the cause of this tragic event.
The incident follows the world's most severe aviation disaster in a decade, with an Air India crash last month, underscoring ongoing concerns about aviation safety. The crash site at Dhaka showcased scenes of fire, wreckage, and despair as emergency services responded.
