Syrian Defense Ministry Vows Accountability After Reports of Military Abuses
Syria's defense ministry has stated it is investigating reports of rights violations by individuals in military fatigues in Sweida. These reports have prompted a firm response from Defense Minister Murhaf Abu Qasra, who assured that offenders will be held accountable, regardless of their association with the ministry.

The Syrian defence ministry has initiated a probe following disturbing reports of misconduct by individuals donning military attire in the largely Druze city of Sweida.
Speaking on the issue, Defence Minister Murhaf Abu Qasra underscored a policy of zero tolerance, affirming that any violators, even if linked to the ministry, will face consequences.
These developments come amidst growing concerns over military conduct in Syria, placing the spotlight on the need for transparency and accountability within the armed forces.
