Russia commenced a substantial naval exercise, dubbed 'July Storm,' on Wednesday, rallying more than 150 vessels and 15,000 military personnel. Conducted across the Pacific, Arctic, Baltic, and Caspian seas, the drills are set to unfold between July 23 and 27, as announced by the defense ministry.

The exercise will focus on the navy's preparedness for unconventional operations, long-range weapon deployment, and cutting-edge technology, including unmanned systems. Ships will engage in anti-submarine operations, safeguard economic zones, and practice defenses against aerial and drone attacks.

Over 120 aircraft and 10 coastal missile systems will partake, under the leadership of Navy Chief Admiral Alexander Moiseev. Although recognized as the world's third most formidable navy, Russia's maritime forces have faced notable setbacks during the Ukraine conflict.
