Actor Rana Daggubati Among Celebrities Summoned in Online Betting Probe

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned actor Rana Daggubati, granting him a new appearance date of August 11, after he missed the original summons in a probe linked to illegal online betting.

This federal agency is investigating a money laundering case involving 28 personalities, including actors Prakash Raj, Vijay Deverakonda, and Lakshmi Manchu, for their alleged promotion of online betting platforms.

The ED is acting upon multiple FIRs from Telangana Police, accusing these celebrities and influencers of endorsing betting apps, which are suspected of generating millions in illicit funds, to secure endorsement fees without due diligence.
