The Gujarat Anti Terrorist Squad has announced the arrest of four persons suspected of having connections with the Al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS), a group known for orchestrating acts of terror.
The Gujarat ATS declared that a terror module, affiliated with the AQIS, has been successfully dismantled, with four individuals under arrest.
Further information on the operation is anticipated later today, following previous arrests in 2023 of Bangladeshi nationals linked to the same group.
