The chief minister, currently visiting Delhi, underscored coordination among departments to mitigate public inconvenience during these challenging weather conditions.
In areas expecting heavy rain, Reddy stressed the importance of meticulous monitoring to prevent loss of life and property. He specifically called for heightened vigilance in Greater Hyderabad, where water bodies risk overflowing, and insisted that officials remain accessible for emergencies such as floods.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) warned of heavy rainfall in districts like Jayashankar Bhupalpally and Mulugu until July 25, with possible extensions to July 26. Thunderstorms and gusty winds are predicted until July 27 as heavy rains persist, affecting several districts in the region.
