The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, a bilateral infrastructure venture that traverses through contested regions of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, has long stood opposed by India. Officials assert that this undermines India's territorial claims and have urged cessation of activities.
Minister of State for External Affairs, Kirti Vardhan Singh, reiterated that India's stance remains unaltered, maintaining vigilance on developments related to this corridor. Any attempts to involve third-party countries in the project remain unacceptable to the Indian government.
