In a tragic turn of events in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, an anganwadi worker's life came to a premature end following an alleged assault by a group. The incident, resulting in the arrest of four individuals, including two women, has sent shockwaves through Kanwan village.
The turmoil began on Monday when the 25-year-old worker was publicly humiliated and accused regarding her character. She was forcibly taken to the police station, examined, and initially released after mediation by the authorities.
However, the situation escalated on Tuesday when she filed a legal complaint. By that evening, the worker consumed poison and succumbed during treatment the following day, prompting police to charge the accused with abetment of suicide.
