During a session in the Rajya Sabha, Minister of State for External Affairs, Kirti Vardhan Singh, emphasized India's expectation that Bangladesh's interim government will thoroughly investigate such incidents and ensure perpetrators are brought to justice.
India raises the issue of safety and security for minorities consistently with Bangladeshi authorities at all levels, reinforcing that the protection of all citizens in Bangladesh, including minorities, primarily lies with their government.
