Canada, on Thursday, strongly condemned the Israeli government for its failure to avert what Prime Minister Mark Carney termed a humanitarian disaster in Gaza.
Carney charged Israel with violating international law due to its obstruction of Canadian-funded aid intended for civilians in the embattled Palestinian region.
"Canada calls on all parties to negotiate an immediate ceasefire in good faith. We reiterate our calls for Hamas to release all hostages immediately, and for the Israeli government to respect the territorial integrity of the West Bank and Gaza," Carney stated on X.
