The National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) is set to launch the 'Veer Parivar Sahayata Yojana' on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, providing critical legal aid to the families of soldiers. This initiative marks another significant milestone in the nation's effort to support its armed forces.
July 26 commemorates Kargil Vijay Diwas, a day observing the Indian Army's victory in the 1999 Kargil conflict. In alignment with this, NALSA's executive chairman will inaugurate legal services clinics across Sainik Welfare Boards in various states virtually, enhancing accessibility to legal services for military families. An additional clinic will be launched at the Himachal Pradesh Ex-Servicemen Corporation headquarters in Hamirpur.
These clinics will feature panel lawyers and para-legal volunteers who will provide necessary legal assistance.
