In a major breakthrough, security forces in Manipur conducted multiple operations in the hill districts of Churachandpur, Kangpokpi, Pherzawl, Tengnoupal, and Chandel, leading to the recovery of 155 firearms and 1,652 rounds of ammunition. This series of intelligence-based operations was a collaborative effort involving police, Central Armed Police Forces, Assam Rifles, and the army.

The recovery included eight AK series rifles, two INSAS rifles, four carbines, and a range of other firearms and ammunitions.
