Arunachal Pradesh Home Minister Mama Natung convened with Governor KT Parnaik on Monday to deliberate on pressing law and order issues within the state, particularly focusing on the challenges facing the regions of Tirap, Changlang, and Longding (TCL).
In a statement from the Raj Bhavan, the governor urged comprehensive actions to ensure the safety and security of all citizens, emphasizing special attention towards vulnerable groups. He called for proactive involvement from security forces, including state police, to engage with these communities for their well-being.
At a security review meeting previously held in Namsai on July 26, Governor Parnaik discussed the hardships experienced by villagers in remote areas within the TCL districts. He stressed that effective governance must encompass both security and the pursuit of inclusive development for these communities.
