Egypt's Sisi Urges Trump to End Gaza Conflict and Facilitate Humanitarian Aid
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi appeals to former U.S. President Donald Trump to help end the Gaza war and enable humanitarian aid access. Despite ongoing mediation efforts, no ceasefire deal has been reached. Humanitarian agencies stress the urgency of consistent aid amidst the escalating crisis.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has reached out to former U.S. President Donald Trump, urging him to utilize his influence to halt the ongoing conflict in Gaza and to facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid into the beleaguered region.
Sisi and Trump, who maintain a close relationship, along with Egypt, Qatar, and the U.S., have been involved in mediating ceasefire talks between Israel and Hamas since the conflict began in October. Despite these efforts, recent indirect negotiations in Doha have stalled without a resolution.
The blockade-induced humanitarian crisis in Gaza has drawn international concern, as aid trucks finally began moving from Egypt amid growing pressure. While Israel has agreed to daily humanitarian pauses and safe corridors, sustained aid efforts are crucial, according to U.N. agencies, to address the dire hunger situation.
