Hope After Tragedy: J-K Lt Governor Extends Job Assurance
Lt Governor Manoj Sinha provided a job assurance letter to Mareesa Thapa, daughter of a slain officer killed in Pakistani shelling during Operation Sindoor, in a gesture of support and assistance. The appointment as an Assistant Law Officer will follow her studies.

The Lt Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, offered a job assurance to Mareesa Thapa, daughter of the brave additional district development commissioner who lost his life in Pakistani shelling during Operation Sindoor.
The assurance was given in a solemn ceremony attended by Mareesa and her mother, Meenakshi Kundan Thapa, at the Raj Bhawan. The letter promises Mareesa a position as Assistant Law Officer once she completes her education.
This gesture underscores the administration's commitment to stand by the families of those who sacrifice for the nation. The divisional commissioner, Jammu, Ramesh Kumar, was also present at the occasion.
