The Lt Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, offered a job assurance to Mareesa Thapa, daughter of the brave additional district development commissioner who lost his life in Pakistani shelling during Operation Sindoor.

The assurance was given in a solemn ceremony attended by Mareesa and her mother, Meenakshi Kundan Thapa, at the Raj Bhawan. The letter promises Mareesa a position as Assistant Law Officer once she completes her education.
